The Platform Boots
Retire At: 20s
Platform boots are something that I’ve never really understood, no matter what age I was. They look like they belong on Frankenstein versus an attractive female, not to mention I bet they are ridiculously uncomfortable to wear. It’s not so much all platform shoes because there are some that can be attractive, but not the boots in my experience. Most fashion experts recommend switching to a platform pump, or better yet a wedge, to mimic the added height but provide a more uncomfortable experience.
