2010 was the year Apple failed the iPhone, sorta. The phone was otherwise a fine device. Unfortunately, for Apple, the media would only report on the failed antenna design. What made matters worse, Jobs blamed users for holding the phone wrong. The iPhone 4S magically solved this problem, allowing users to hold their phones however they wished, but the gaffe gave Samsung some time to do catch up work.
