This one may get me to switch back from Chrome to Safari. You can turn any web text into a simple reading format by clicking the hamburger menu in the URL field, just to the left of the URL. Safari will remove ads and other clutter, converting the text into a simple readable document. Once you do this, you can adjust the text background color to sepia, gray or black. To do this, click the right side of the URL field, where the small and large “A” appear. You can even change the font.
