Repair Permissions

Despite the removal of permissions from Disk Utility in El Capitan, you can still make repairs. You have to open Terminal. It’s in the Utilities folder. Type or cut and paste this into Terminal for access:
sudo /usr/libexec/repair_packages –repair –standard-pkgs –volume /
Just, be aware that Apple does not recommend you take this action.
