Becca Meyers

This lovely lady is multi-time Olympic gold and silver medalist, Becca Meyers. With a total of 4 gold medals and 2 silver medals in swimming, it comes as quite the shock to hear that she suffers from a rare condition called Usher syndrome. This syndrome can be extremely problematic because it causes vision loss and balance issues and when you add in the fact that she was also born deaf it would seem as if the odds were stacked against her. But that of course didn’t stop Becca from becoming a champion.
