Yes, these are already on the road, but we aren’t to iRobot status yet. We will be, soon. In fact, everything will be self-driving, except when Will Smith is driving. As proof that this is heating up, Uber just announced a pilot program in Pittsburg, where riders can opt to ride in a self-driving car. They’re not yet driverless, but more automated than normal cars. Uber has made no excuses about their long term plan to eliminate drivers. Of course, Google already has fully autonomous cars on the road, has for years. Ford set 2021 as the year they will put driverless cars on the road. Babies born in 2010 may not learn to drive.
