Remember Luke Skywalker? Well, anyway, he has a bionic arm. No, he’s not real… never mind. The research and development firm, Deka, have created a bionic arm they like so much, they named it “Luke.” It is extremely dexterous, like a real human arm. They aren’t alone. Many R&D teams are popping out bionic limb and technologies to replace human limbs. The technology ranges from Star Wars to Star Trek. Some are limbs. Some technologies are chips designed to bypass broken neural pathways. We are nearly to a day when missing limbs are not the end of the world.
