Fail, Fail, fail. It’s still a fail. Maps were wonky, unable to zoom or downright wrong. Everyone wanted Apple Maps to be awesome. It made sense, after all. Prior to Maps, Apple paid Google for their mapping program. Yeah, the other guys. A company like Apple should have been able to whip something up, better than Google, right? Turns out, no. It turns out, map making is a time-honored skill one does not take lightly. As of this writing, Apple is still behind Google in most places where maps are concerned.
