First Gen Apple TV (2006)
Not the best of the TV bunch, but the only one with the ability to store files, like movies or music, the first generation Apple TV was a costly beast. At least it had some nice design elements. The fanbase for the first Apple TV was thin. Considering it predates Netflix, that’s no surprise. At the time it would have been great for film buffs wanting to digitize their collections, but it only had a 40GB drive. That’s less than most of today’s iPhones.
