Aimed at the education market, sold for a time as an alternative to the G4 iMac, the eMac lasted four years. It looks like a more stylish version of the colorful iMacs everyone had in the 90’s. It was not as portable, heavier by 15 pounds and came with NO handle. A number of the eMacs had display issues, called “Raster shift. The screen was basically useless once this problem set in. It was an affordable machine, but for its weight it wasn’t worth it when you could buy the iMac.
