The project born in the world of crowdsourced funding, purchased by Google, promises to be the last smartphone you will ever buy. This is possible per the modular parts of Ara, changed out at your discretion. As elements of your phone upgrade with advances in technology, as your needs change, you can swap out or upgrade those parts. The core operating system recognizes those changes, adapting as you go. You could even upgrade the CPU one day.
