Our prediction: Virtual Reality technology will stall on novelty for a couple of years. Manufacturers will race to make a better experience, removing wires, improving speeds and resolutions in 2017. It will be a few years before people wear VR headsets every day. The technology has to become more portable first, a lot more portable, like contact lens portable. Meanwhile, there is a very good chance you will buy a headset for your entertainment needs. These purchases are what will fund and drive the next generations of headsets, which will change the way we engage the real world.
